1935 TB-3 conversion

Double cut peghead
Rosewood board with Reno style inlay
Fitted with a new pre-war style mahogany five string neck to exacting specs of the 1930's by Eric Sullivan
The scale is same as old pre-war Gibson scale
PW scale is about 1/8" of an inch longer than what Frank Neat uses
One piece flange, three ply rim, and alll original nickel hardware
Mahogany resonator has been lightly over sprayed a long time ago.
Bound top and back edges and has the two standard concentric rings on the back
Original Grover Prest tailpeace has been punched for 3rd string
The flathead tonering is from another very worn 1933 style 3 which was purchased from Mandolin Brothers
Frank Neat removed the tonering from worn style 3 and installed it in this TB-3 about 25 years ago
It  weighs three pounds, three ounce (1.44 kilograms)

His father Bill Sullivan got it and named it "Myrtle" which is his wife's name
This flatter and wider neck was changed to new one which was to original Gibson specification
